The next baby item is a hat. I used DB wool/cotton, and I made up the pattern, and this came out all right. It could be a bit too big for newborn, but they will grow up right away, so it should be no problem!

marirob- thanks for your compliment! i love my hourglass sweater - and of course my little boy, too!! i visited your blog, too, and you do have lots of nice sweaters. i'm especially impressed with the phildar's gradation sweater --- it's just so beautiful!! how did you do it?
